Calendar Cakes November

Well it seems that there is a special day or week for everything these days...and this month is no exception! It is in fact Homemade Bread Day on November 17th, so we thought we'd throw you a little challenge for November's Calendar Cakes... the theme is:

Bread, Rolls & Buns

More of a bake than a cake but just as delicious! So if you're a bread connoisseur then we'd love to see some of your specialities or if like me you're not particularly au fait with bread making then why not give it a go and see what you come up with. Incidentally November 3rd is Sandwich day...so why not create a delicious sandwich with your bread or roll! ;-)
We'd love to see loaves...sour dough, plaited or just a good old fashioned white loaf. Or maybe rolls are your thing...or how about some sweet buns? You may have been inspired by the recent episode of the Great British Bake Off where the contestants presented Mary and Paul with their version of a regional bun...or have you always dreamed of making a Chelsea or Cinnamon Bun?

Hopefully you've been inspired to take up the challenge and if so here's how to enter...

  1. Im still all for the hope that you will start a dedicated blog for this... Its a pain in the backside linking to you both, linking the logo, remembering who is hosting, results, themes.

Moan over, I was hoping you would have used movember as a theme, there goes my hope of a mustache cake. lol

  2. Hi Nicola...I'm afraid there won't be a seperate blog as Calendar Cakes is an integral part of our current blogs and pretty much all blogging challenges run on the same basis! I do hope you'll join in though...although not sure about the Movember theme...might be a bit hairy! ;-)
